Being mocked for pale skin during the summer has become tiresome. Perhaps it's time for a little bit of a change. Visiting the beach may prove to be relaxing. What type of beach is all up to Ryou. Private might come across as too quiet, and I doubt he's used to private beaches. Public it is...

Spiral came back. This is good. I missed having a cat that clings to my leg no matter where I am.

Spiral's disappeared. Not quite disappeared, but there are no signs of that particular cat's existence in the dorm. Runaway feline. Now we're down to two. I hope cats are like dogs only in that they will return home.

Are fires really this common in the United States? Is it commonplace for fires to suddenly break out?

I can't be the only one who's realized the odd link between these two fires.

On another note, Ryou's been living with me ever since he lost his home with that writer Shigure. It's nice to have him around, though the creampuffs seem to be vanishing one by one whenever I look inside the freezer for something to eat. I wonder who could have eaten them?

Other than that, nothing unusual or out of the ordinary has happened. Life is as uneventful as ever...save for working out the details of the wedding day.

Though, I believe in that last furball Spiral spit up there was a shoelace that went missing last week. I'm not surprised by this at all.

I almost completely forgot about Thanksgiving. Thanks be to Ryou for reminding me of the upcoming holiday. It's not quite as important as Christmas, but I've received recital invitations from several different places. Maybe one Thanksgiving day, but certainly not this Thanksgiving.
